Pinnacles Prep believes every scholar has within them the ability to achieve their learning goals. We also know that families are our most valuable partner as we support each scholar to reach rigorous targets in each subject area and grade level.

Reaching grade level standards and targets requires progress monitoring and sometimes, targeted support. Pinnacles Prep families receive accurate and meaningful information about their scholar’s strengths and areas where growth is needed. In a competency-based learning environment, all learners are met where they currently are academically and allowed to progress as they are ready, at the pace that meets their individual needs, utilizing standards-based scales and rubrics. Key competency-based instructional strategies include small-group instruction, individualized instruction, and personalized learning. Scholars know what standards they are expected to master and can easily track them.

The teacher does not guard the mountain of knowledge but serves as a guide to help scholars as they climb the mountain.
